Yandex Music removed three Meduza podcasts — What Happened, a daily news podcast, Text of the Week, a podcast about major investigations and reporting, and Signal, an audio version of an email newsletter. The podcasts were removed due to the dissemination of «legally banned information». On October 4, Yandex Music received a notification from Roskomnadzor about the need to block the podcasts due to the demand of the Prosecutor General’s Office. The Prosecutor General’s Office considered the materials about Russian military aggression in Ukraine «illegal».
