On February 25, Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine CJSC filed a lawsuit against Tert Am LLC with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, demanding refutation of the information considered as libel and payment of AMD 2 million (about USD 5,000) as compensation. The reason for the lawsuit was the article «Artsvanik tailing dump, operated by Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine, probably pollutes villages and rivers, spoils agricultural lands: ecologist», published on January 24 on the website Tert.am website owned by the mentioned LLC. The court case is in the process of consideration.
