The editorial board of Tengrinews.kz officially clarified that articles and social media posts about a certain Dinara Kulibaevaya, supposedly hosted on the site, are fakes. The authors of these posts have been using visual materials from Tengrinews, and the names of employees of the site to try and give the appearance that the materials originate from the publication. In the fakes the publication appears to recommend that readers contact the indicated author, if the have 'problems with money, health, or bill-paying'. Tengrinews.kz commented that similar publications have appeared on other Kazakh news resources. The editorial board addressed readers to warn them about the scams.
