The former akim of a rural district in the Jambyl region Yerik Alikulov filed a civil lawsuit for the protection of honor, dignity, and business reputation to the journalist of Ratel.kz Temurlan Turdalin. The reason was the article about the deceived residents of the district, who had been given decisions of the akimat on the allocation of land plots, and when they began planning construction, it turned out that these lands had been privatized by another person even earlier. The trial did not begin because the court returned the lawsuit to the plaintiff. The reasons for this were that the plaintiff failed to provide information that would show that his rights and legitimate interests had been infringed.
