The staff of the Temirov Live channel released a statement following the detention of journalist Bolot Temirov, who was investigating corruption. «Bolot Temirov was detained on the evening of January 22. This happened two days after the release of an investigation into the fuel business of the family of Kamchybek Tashiev, head of the State Committee of National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic. We've been previously releasing investigations about Tashiev and his relatives – and this is the result», – Temirov Live journalist Aktilek Kaparov said in a statement. According to Kaparov, a hidden video camera and wiretap receiver were found in Temirov's home in December 2021. It was installed right in the journalist's bedroom. Temirov Live's staff members were threatened, and journalists were asked to inform the authorities about the upcoming investigations.
