On the night of December 29, the number of subscribers to the Telegram channel Obozhayu, which had been 27,000 for about a year and a half, increased by 10,000 in one hour. The author of the project Obozhayu Askhat Niyazov also discovered that unknown people had changed the links to the Telegram channel on the project’s YouTube channel — they led to another account. On December 30, the access to the Telegram channel was restricted. «All night we were preparing for an attack on the channel, and they hacked my Telegram number. That’s it. I am no longer the owner of the Telegram channel Obozhayu, — Niyazov said on Instagram. On January 2, Niyazov said: «As of today, things are as follows: Telegram returned my number to me. YouTube channel has been saved. Instagram is still alive, too».
