The Partizansky District Court of Minsk has recognised the Telegram channel "Holy Belawood" (identifier: t.me/holybelawood) as extremist information material. The channel is a blog run by journalist and film critic Taras Tarnalitsky and has nearly 1,500 subscribers. On the basis of the court decision, the Ministry of Information of Belarus added the internet resource to the “Republican List of Extremist Materials”. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and storage of materials recognised as extremist entail administrative liability for both publishers and users.
