An employee of the Newspaper 'Azadliq', Tazahan Miralamli, interviewed the chairman of the opposition Azerbaijani Popular Front Party Ali Karimli at his house. When the journalist left the building, he was attacked by three men in civilian clothes - they twisted his arms and forced him into a car. They introduced themselves as officers of the Baku City Main Police Department. The journalist was taken to the investigation department of the Khatai district police department. The journalist was released after being held at the police station for more than five hours.
