The Petrozavodsk City Court is considering a lawsuit filed by Oleg Nyapshayev, the head of the fire service of the Medvezhegorsky District, and his deputy Dmitry Koretsky against journalist Tatyana Smirnova. Later, Dmitry Koretsky and Oleg Nyapshayev were dismissed by mutual agreement. They filed a lawsuit in court to protect their rights to privacy and image rights. In March, Smirnova published a video about violations by the management of Fire Department-15. The plaintiffs demand RUB 500,000 each as compensation for moral damage. On December 10, 2021, the judge dismissed Koretsky and Nyapshayev's claim.
