Additional information:

Unknown individuals filled the door of journalist Tatyana Oshurkevich’s apartment with construction foam and wrote “repay the debt” on it. Oshurkevich has been living outside Belarus in forced exile for the past four years. The incident occurred shortly after the publication of her article in the European outlet Politico, which focused on the migration crisis at the Belarus–EU border. The journalist believes the publication is the sole reason for the attack on her property. She noted that after the article appeared in Politico, she began receiving offensive messages and threats via Instagram from fake accounts, including warnings of criminal charges for insulting Lukashenko and discrediting the Republic of Belarus. On the very morning the foam attack occurred, police came to her door with a search notice.
