The Ordzhonikidze District Court in Magnitogorsk has fined photographer Tatyana Gladskikh 2,000 roubles (approximately €21) for displaying prohibited symbols, under Part 1 of Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences. According to the police report, on 21 March 2025, Gladskikh posted an image on the American stock photo website Dreamstime showing two girls wearing rainbow bracelets against a rainbow flag. The court ruling states that the rainbow flag is a symbol of the “LGBT movement,” which has been officially designated as “extremist.” Gladskikh believes the complaint against her may have been filed by individuals with whom she is in dispute over the unauthorised use of her photographs.
