Additional information:
The Tagansky District Court in Moscow has dismissed a lawsuit brought by billionaire Oleg Deripaska against journalists Alexander Plyushchev and Tatyana Felgenhauer over the protection of honour, dignity, and business reputation. Under the terms of the settlement, Felgenhauer must publish a retraction within ten days regarding statements made in an interview with human rights activist Olga Romanova on the YouTube channel "The Breakfast Show". The video must clarify that Deripaska has no influence over the Russian judicial system. Plyushchev, meanwhile, is required to remove sections of the video in which he discusses Deripaska’s alleged interference in court proceedings. Failure to comply will result in a fine of 10,000 roubles per day. Other defendants in Deripaska’s lawsuit, filed in December 2024, included Romanova and Maria Pevchikh, head of the International Anti-Corruption Fund. The court fully upheld Deripaska’s claims against them.
