Photographer and journalist Tatsiana Kapitonava was detained when she was filming an IT conference in Minsk co-working centre. The police came specifically for her. She was held in the temporary detention centre on Akrestsina. On May 14, the court accused Kapitonava of unauthorised laying of flowers near the Komarovsky market — on May 12, there was a street action «Women in White». Kapitonava plead not guilty, she confirmed that she was near the Komarovsky market, but did not lay flowers. Nevertheless, the judge found the journalist guilty of participation in an unauthorised event (Part 1 of Article 24.23 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus) and arrested her for 10 days.
