The police detained the journalist while she was covering Sunday's protest against the results of the presidential election and the violence of the law enforcers. She was taken to the police department «to check the documents», where she was drawn up a report for participation in an unauthorized event (Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus) and held for about 10 hours. Haurylchyk was released late at night.
