Security officials attacked three BBC News Russian correspondents who were covering a protest against the presidential election results. At the same time, the journalists had accreditation issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and identification vests with the inscription «Press». A group of men in a black uniform with no insignia approached the journalists. One of the security officials demanded to show accreditation, then tore off the card from the correspondent's neck and snatched the camera out of his hands, trying to break it. In response to a request to return the accreditation card, two security officials beat the cameraman and hit his video camera.
