Law enforcement officers detained the journalist during the dispersal of a protest against the presidential election results and the law enforcers' violence. The journalist was taken to the police department, where he was accused of participating in an unauthorized event (Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus) and disobedience to police demands (Article 23.4 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus). He was held in the detention center for two days until the trial. On November 17, the court found Krutskikh guilty and arrested him for 25 days based on police reports.
