The police searched the journalist's apartment with the prosecutor's permission as part of the check-up under criminal articles for libel and insult (Article 188 and Article 189 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus). The police confiscated computers, a phone, a camera, and voice recorders. According to the police officers, the investigative actions allegedly concern an inscription on the house where the police officer lives and insults him in a local chat.
