The Supreme Court has upheld a lawsuit filed by Roskomnadzor against the publishing house Energia and the editorial office of the Saratov-based news agency Svobodnye Novosti FreeNews-Volga to terminate the activities of the media outlet.The reason for the licence revocation was the unlabelled reference to «foreign agents». The website of Svobodnye Novosti was blocked in April 2024.
