The police officers of Hantsavichy District Police Department came to the home of the correspondent of the independent publication Hantsavitski Chas Sviatlana Malyshka and insistently offered her to come to the police station for a «conversation» with them. At the police station, the law enforcers were interested in the journalist’s publication titled ‘The centre of Hantsavichy has gone bald by "Dozhynki«’, which said that trees were cut down in the city in preparation for the official holiday. The conversation revealed that this article made the chairman of the local executive committee Uladzimir Bialou and his deputy Siarhei Sarokau very angry, and the officials turned to the police for help. At the end of the «preventive conversation», the policemen warned Sviatlana that they would «read her articles carefully».
