The journalist was attacked in the office of the Taganskaya territorial election commission (TEC) together with the cameraman Igor Finkovsky. The head of the Moscow TEC, Rimma Bakhtiarova, beat Vidanova several times and damaged Finkovsky's camera. The journalists wrote a statement to the police.
