On July 23, the Pskov City Court began the hearing against journalist Svetlana Prokopyeva accused in libel and repetitional damage. The plaintiff is Olga Yakotsuts, a psychologist from Abakan, one of the authors of the psychological and linguistic examination on the basis of which Prokopyeva was found guilty of justifying terrorism. Yakotsuts filed a lawsuit after Prokopyeva's Facebook post. The plaintiff demands compensation for moral damage in the amount of 500,000 RUB (6,813 USD).
