The Pskov City Court fined Prokopyeva RUB 35,000 under the article on «discrediting» the army (Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). The reason was her February interview with political philosopher Vasily Zharkov. According to the authorities, the journalist «exerts psychological influence on readers» with her questions.
