The Sovetskiy District Court of Tomsk satisfied the prosecutor's objection against the magistrate's court refusal to consider Mikryukov's case under the article on "fakes" (part 9 of Article 13.15 of the Administrative Code of Offences). The reason for the protocol was the article about the COVID-19 outbreak and quarantine at the surgical clinic, which was later confirmed. The second protocol on Mikryukov was drawn up in July for an article about the situation in the Tomsk morgues. In August, a third protocol was drawn up on the journalist on the same article. He was summoned several times to the police and Investigative Committee of Russia to reveal his sources about the first death from the COVID-19 in Tomsk.
