The riot policemen detained Stanislav in Brest city centre. They tore off a badge with an official ID and a camera from his neck, and a backpack with equipment from the back. The journalist was beaten with rubber truncheons and pushed into a police van. During the arrest, Stanislav was wearing a vest with the inscription TUT.BY. He was taken to the ROVD and thrown into the garage, then to the cell. He was released almost a day after the arrest. All Stanislav's equipment – a camera, a smartphone, even a smartwatch - was seized, as the police explained, as part of a criminal case.
