The media Sota reported that an employee of the Moscow Central Administrative District prefecture took a memory card with footage of the fires in the Ryazan region from its employees who were covering the fires. The official demanded to provide him with photos to view. Employees of Moscow’s housing and utilities system are involved in extinguishing fires. According to Sota, Ryazan region authorities, who gave the journalists their accreditation, claim that the seizure of the media and the demand of the prefecture officer and the police officers subordinate to him to «stay put» is illegal.
