On April 29, Georgian Public Broadcasting officially fired the host of the program Akhali Kvira Imeda Darsalia, correspondents Tamta Dzhanadze and Sofo Zedelashvili. The program Akhali Kvira was closed on February 17 — as the TV channel management explained, «due to reorganisation». However, journalists stated that the reason for the conflict was censorship — the channel’s management compiled a list of people who were not allowed to be interviewed and commented on.
