Fifteen activists gathered in front of the Khan Shatyr shopping centre with placards which police did not allow them to display. Without explanation and without drawing up a protocol report for the activists, among whom was the Vlast.kz correspondent Yelizaveta Tsoi, were roughly loaded into police vans and taken to the Yesil district police department. As Yelizaveta Tsoi told an Adil Soz correspondent, all activists had their mobile phones taken from them - one person's phone was taken from their pocket, and another from their handbag.
