Vyacheslav Filogrievsky, the editor-in-chief of news company MTK in Magadan, was fired after criticising the work of the city services. The official reason for the termination of his contract with the TV company, which is controlled by the city administration, was "disciplinary violations". Filogrievsky said that the decision to suspend him was made by the mayor of the city.
