On August 3, the blogger Vladislav Sinitsa was detained at a protest rally and later put into a pre-trial detention centre. On August 5, the Tversky District Court in Moscow arrested Sinitsa for a tweet in which he allegedly called on subscribers to use violence against the children of the security forces. The court remanded him in pre-trial detention for inciting hatred or hostility (Part 2 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code) until October 3.
