On January 14, Varduhi Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the website "Tiv1.am", said that the site had been shut down for 16 days without any notification to the founding staff and editor-in-chief, all the locks on the doors of the office had been replaced and staff members could not enter the office even to take their personal belongings or access to their personal data in the computers. On February 4, 2019 a criminal case was opened on the incident by the Arabkir Police Department under Article 322, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Armenia, which was sent to the investigative department of Arabkir administrative district, and is currently in the process of being investigated.
