On 13th March, the Zhetysu District Court of Almaty halted proceedings on a claim to protect the honour, dignity and business reputation of the chairman of the public association "Veterans of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan", Bakhytzhan Ertayev, against LLP "Time Newspaper Publishers" and correspondent Tokhniyaz Kuchukov. On 13th March 2017, the parties submitted to the court a peace agreement under which the plaintiff withdraws in full the claims of the lawsuit on condition that the newspaper "Time" publishes an article approved by all parties in the section "Going back to print".
