On 14th December, Zhetysu district court №2 of Almaty continued its consideration of the private complaint of a former agent of the financial police, Talgat Makhatov, who accused Tokhniyaz Kuchukov, "Time" newspaper correspondent and author of several publications on Makhatov's arrest on suspicion of the murder Almaty customs officer Medet Zhamashev, of slander (article 130 of the criminal code).
