On April 19, at Armenian government's main building, people in civilian clothing beat up Tirair Mouradyan, a journalist from the NGO “Union of Informed Citizens”. According to him, the attackers were police officers, who were violent even after the journalist showed them his accreditation. On November 29, the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction finished the trial on the case. The court found Souren Torosyan and Areg Torosyan guilty of hindering the journalist’s activity by exerting force and were fined AMD 300 thousand.
