On the 14th of May, during the Zugdidi mayoral election campaign of Sandra Roelofs, Tamaz Shavshishvili, a cameraman from television channel Rustavi 2, was attacked. The attackers are believed to be supporters of the ruling party Georgian Dream. Police launched an investigation.
