On February 6, 2019, the Investigative Committee of Pskov Oblast opened a criminal case against Svetlana Prokopieva, after she wrote a column on the "Pskov News Feed" website, which was also read on air on “Echo of Moscow in Pskov”. The column discussed the reason for 17-year-old Mikhail Zhlobitsky blowing himself up in an FSB building in Arkhangelsk Oblast on October 31, 2018. Prokopieva’s house, as well as the radio station’s offices, were searched, and her bank accounts suspended.
