In November 2018, police in Michurinsk detained MBK Media journalist and editor of the Tambov publication “Tvyordiy Znak” (Hard Sign) Stanislav Savonchik, and then drove him to his home in Tambov, where they conducted a search as part of the libel case. The lawsuit against the journalist was filed by the governor of the Tambov Oblast, Alexander Nikitin.
