On April 7th, Radio Azattykcorrespondent Saniya Toiken was summoned to the Police Department of the Mangistau Region for an "explanation of the law." According to Sania, Rashid Kuandykov, head of the anti-extremism department, and Aktau prosecutor Daulbai Shelpekov informed the journalist about the court's decision relating to the group "Democratic Choice of Kazakhstan". Asked on what basis Saniya Toiken was called for an "explanation of the law", it was said that "in your actions there are signs of participation in the activities of the organisation, which by the court's decision is considered extremist."
