Instead of being allowed to cover the fiscal meeting between the governor and local public, an Azattyk reporter in Aktau was interrogated by the Interior Ministry. The car in which the journalist Saniya Toiken was travelling was stopped by Aktau police on the morning of 17th February, on the pretext that the reporter sitting in the back seat of the car was not wearing a seat belt.
