Deputy chief of staff at the ministry of defence, major general Ayaz Gasanov, filed a lawsuit against Sakhavat Mamedi of the site "yenicag.az" for critical articles on military themes. The soldier demanded to fine the journalist for 100,000 manats in civilian order. The Agdam District Court partially granted the claim, and the journalist was ordered to pay 200 manats for moral damages.
