In early August 2017, a criminal case was opened in Perm under Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code (incitement of national hatred) and Part 1 of Article 354.1 (denial of the facts established by the verdict of the International Military Tribunal). The case was started against journalist Roman Yushkov in connection with a post on his Facebook page linking to an article entitled "Jews! Give the Germans back the money for the fraud of the Holocaust’s six million Jews!"
