Journalists were attacked during a "On nam ne tsar’!” (He is not our Tsar) protest. A reporter said he was "hit on the head with a bottle", allegedly by supporters of Navalny. People dressed as Cossacks also attacked him; the journalist was punched and hit with a nagaika (a traditional whip).
