The police refused to let a journalist in until he surrendered his smartphone to a cell. The correspondent stated that he was using the mobile device for official purposes for video, photo and audio recording. He also asked the question on what legal basis did he have to leave the phone. The guards referred to instructions and a joint order of the regional mayor's office and the Department for Specialised Security Services not to admit citizens with smartphones.
