Nurzhan Baymuldin, the region's correspondent for Express K, was invited on September 11th to the prosecutor's office of the Akmola who complained that they were not being granted admission to the office. Arriving at the law enforcement services centre of the Akmola region prosecutor's office, the correspondent began to videotape the conversation between citizens and the centre's employees. However, a policeman ran up to him and forbade him to record, and then called 102. The district police officer who arrived on the call, having understood the situation, took an explanation from the Sergeant and left. Furthermore, an employee of the regional Prosecutor's office who did not introduce himself, who later turned out to be Abzal Tezekbaev, an employee of the law enforcement services centre, also saw that the journalist was recording, and said that Baimuldin should stop filming, threatening severe sanctions.
