On August 2nd, Nurmakhan Bekmuratov, a TV cameraman for Khabar 24, filmed a working visit by Prime Minister Askar Mamin to Arys. At one of the sites which was to be visited by the Prime Minister, an unknown man tried to stop Nurmakhan Bekmuratov and other accredited media representatives from filming. He began to grab the cameraman by the hands and trying to take the camera. Nurmakhan almost fell, but having pushed the man away, continued his work. Other journalists and cameramen began to argue with the violent man, informing him that his behaviour violated the law. The man refused to identify himself and soon left.
