In March, a group of journalists were not allowed to engage in professional activities in Masalli. Journalists Nurlan Gakhramanov, Farid Ismailov, and Nurlan Jafari, who went to the area to gather information from an event organised by the "People's Movement of Azerbaijan" party, were attacked by people in plain clothes. Children threw eggs at the journalists at the instruction of police.
