In Tver Oblast, a journalist was beaten in the building of the local administration in Vakhonino. According to the journalist, Leonid Stepanov, the chief specialist in housing and communal services, monitoring and evaluation, and emergency management, did not want to answer the editorial staff's questions, and attacked him with his fists. During the incident, Stepanov used explicit language when threatening the journalist with further physical violence.
