In Stavropol, a man with a knife attacked people in the editorial office of the newspaper "Rodina", the official publication for the regional branch of the Communist Party. The reason for the attack was allegedly the refusal of journalists to print the material of 72-year-old Konstantin Sidnev, thus "defaming the honour of the party and Stalin".
