A court in Kurgan fined Nikita Telizhenko, a freelance correspondent for “Znak.com” and photographer for "Open Russia", 1000 roubles. He was found guilty under Article 20.3 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Offenses (“Propaganda or public display of Nazi paraphernalia or symbols”). The reason for the opening of the administrative case were pictures posted on the social network VK. On August 3, Telizhenko was called to the police, where they said they had discovered two images with symbols of Nazi Germany on his page.
