On the 6th of February, an investigation was launched into the wiretapping of the conversation between the managind director of the TV channel Rustavi 2 Nika (Nikoloz) Gvaramia and the former minister of justice of Georgia Zarub Adeishvili, which was shared by the Ukranian anonymous site Ukrainska Revolutsia. Gvaramia stated that the shared audio recording, allegedly showing the conversation between him and Zurab Adeishvili, is a "pitiless edit". At a press conference, Gvaramia said that the actions of the State Security Service of Georgia (SSSG) were criminal.
