The general prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit against the outlet Zanoza, where the political commentator worked, for his article which was considered by the former president as libellous, insulting and false information. In addition, the claim included a demand for a large fine and for the defendant's flat to be put up for auction for damages. According to the court's decision, the journalist was forbidden to leave the country and was given a non-departure order.
